Ocean Isle Ink & Piercing is a professional tattoo and body piercing studio serving Ocean Isle Beach, Shallotte, Sunset Beach, Calabash, and the surrounding Brunswick County area. Our artists specialize in custom tattoos, American Traditional, black and grey, color tattoos, fine line work, cover-ups, and designs created around your ideas.
We also offer professional body piercing in a clean, welcoming environment with a strong focus on safety, proper technique, and quality jewelry. Whether you’re planning your first tattoo, adding to your collection, looking for a cover-up, or stopping in for a new piercing, our team is here to help you feel comfortable from consultation to aftercare.
Walk-ins are welcome when availability allows, and appointments are available for custom tattoo work and piercings. Tattoo clients must be 18 or older.

With over 21 years of experience, Crystal specializes in custom black and grey tattooing, creating pieces with strong composition, clean detail, and a design that fits the body naturally.
She works closely with each client to turn their ideas into a custom piece that feels personal and well-planned. Known for her calm, professional approach, Crystal takes pride in making clients feel comfortable and confident throughout the process.
Crystal works by appointment only, allowing dedicated time, focus, and a fully customized experience for each client.
Amber – Tattoo Artist
With over 20 years of experience, Amber is widely recognized as one of the best color tattoo artists in the area, known as the “Color Guru” with her ability to blend bold hues into breathtaking designs. Her attention to detail and love for vibrant, meaningful artwork have made her a standout artist across the Carolinas. Amber is also known for building strong connections with her clients and turning their ideas into timeless works of art. Amber is appointment-only at the Ocean Isle location. Katie is a highly versatile tattoo artist known for her strong technical ability, attention to detail, and range across multiple styles. James is a seasoned tattoo artist with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He specializes in neo-traditional tattooing, known for bold lines, rich color palettes, and strong illustrative flow. In addition to neo-traditional work, James is highly versatile and enjoys working across multiple styles, adapting each design to fit the client and the body naturally.
